Announcement for May 1st, 2010 Arthur Blumberg Scholarship 2010 Call for Proposals

The Council of Professors of Instructional Supervision (COPIS) encourages doctoral students and recent graduates to submit proposals to present papers at the 2010 fall COPIS conference. This year’s conference is scheduled for October 1-3 in Austin, Texas. Up to three Arthur Blumberg Scholarships will be awarded and will cover the cost of the conference registration and a stipend to help defray travel costs.
Doctoral students and recent graduates who are interested in applying for this award should submit a brief proposal outlining the purpose of their study, procedures, findings, and references. The proposal and final paper must be related to the field of supervision in education as evidenced by topic and citations of relevant literature. Proposals will be vetted separately by the conference program committee and the Arthur Blumberg Scholarship committee.
Please direct questions about the COPIS conference or program to Jennifer Jacobs Jacobs: Questions about the Blumberg award should be directed to Edward Pajak: Proposals should be sent to both, no later than July 7, 2010 to ensure consideration.
